北京师范大学中国易学文化研究院是专门从事易学及中国传统文化教学、研究、传播的学术机构，院长为博士生导师张涛教授。
The Beijing Normal University China Institute of Yijing Culture (CIYC-BNU) is an academic organization dedicated to the education and research of Yijing (The Book of Changes or Classic of changes) and traditional Chinese culture. The Ph. D. Dean of institute is Zhangtao professor.
北京师范大学具有易学文化教学、研究的悠久传统和良好氛围。吴承仕、杨树达、钱玄同、于省吾、高亨、侯外庐、白寿彝、张岱年等学者，或在此执教，或在此研习，推出了一大批易学著作，使北师大成为国内易学研究的重镇。
Beijing Normal University is equipped with a long-standing tradition and excellent academic atmosphere for the education and research of Yijing culture. Eminent scholars such as Chengshi Wu, Shuda Yang, Xuantong Qian, Xingwu Yu, Heng Gao, Wailu Hou, Shouyi Bai, Dainian Zhang, have spared no effort to study or lecture here. They have worked to release volumes on Yijing Studies, making Beijing Normal University an established center for Yijing Studies in China.
近年来，北京师范大学易学文化研究团队在张涛教授的带领下，依托我校的学术传统、文化积淀和社会影响，不断开拓进取，推陈出新，在人才培养、科学研究及文化传承创新等方面成绩显著，初步形成了自己的特色和优势，积累了较为丰富的学术经验和社会资源，为研究院学科布局的确立、学术梯队的建设以及未来的可持续发展打下了坚实的基础。
In recent years, with the help of Beijing Normal University’s academic tradition, inherited culture, and social influence, the research team of Yijing Culture in Beijing Normal University led by Zhangtao professor has continue to forge ahead and achieve innovation in older areas. It has made brilliant achievements in student development, scientific research, and innovation of cultural tradition, to form its own unique characteristics and predominance. The rich academic experience and social resources that the Institute has accumulated has laid a foundation for the building of its disciplines, establishment of academic echelons, and sustainable development in the future.
已招收培养数十名易学文化研究方向的博士、硕士研究生，指导撰写的学位论文得到学术界充分肯定；承担国内院校的相关课程和人才培养任务，受到广泛欢迎；参与社会的相关教育培训工作，赢得各界好评。
The Institute has accepted dozens of graduate students (both PhD. and Master’s) who are focusing on Yijing culture research. Their academic dissertations have been fully acknowledged by the academic world. The Institute’s affiliated courses and student development have been widely popular, and it has also been praised in many circles for its participation in related educational training in society.
已出版易学文化著作30余部，在海内外发表相关学术论文200余篇；推出国内首部大型易学古籍整理成果《中国易学文献集成》（初编），共68册，约2000万字；2009年以来连续出版易学专业集刊《周易文化研究》，后更名为《中华易学》，半年刊，现已出版9卷。
The Institute has published over 30 books on Yijing culture, as well as over 200 academic dissertations published both domestically and internationally. It has released the result of the first major texts of Yijing Studies: Compilation of China Yijing Studies Texts – First Edition, which has a total of 68 copies, and approximately 20 million characters. Since 2009, the Institute has been releasing the collected papers of the Yijing Studies major in the publication “Research on the Classic of Changes Culture”，Later renamed as "Zhonghua Yixue", semi-annual, has now published 9 volumes.
以科学研究服务政府决策和公益事业，重视科研成果的社会功能和经世作用，为当代防灾减灾、环境保护、社会保障、制度建设及经济社会发展提供重要的学术依据和智力支持。
The Institute works to serve the government’s policymakers and public interests through scientific research. It also values the social function and administrative role that research plays. It provides crucial academic evidence and intellectual support for disaster prevention and reduction, environmental protection, social security, institutional improvement, and economic and social development in the modern age.
积极开展对外交流合作，不断强化易学在扩大文化领域对外开放方面的重要作用，为中华文化走出去并扩大在世界文明对话中的话语权做出更大贡献。
The Institute also actively works to further cooperation with the international community and strengthen the important role that Yijing Studies has in opening up cultural fields to the outside world. It makes significant contributions to the influence of the Chinese culture as it enters and expands on the dialogue between global civilizations.
积极探索校地联合、校企联合、产学研结合的新路径、新方式，主持或参与各地有影响的重大项目工程，为精神文明建设、和谐社会建设、生态文明建设做出了自己的努力。
The Institute actively explores new methods for cooperation between the school and area, school and enterprises, and production, teaching, and research. It hosts or participates in important, influential project engineering in multiple areas, and strives to work for the establishment of a spiritual culture, harmonious society, and ecological civilization.
《易经》是中国的，也是世界的，易学文化、易学智慧是全人类的精神财富。北京师范大学中国易学文化研究院愿与海内外同仁一道，共同致力于易学的研究和教学工作，在认真整理和充分研究的基础上实现易学文化价值的现代转换。
The “Classic of Changes” belongs to China, but also the world. Yijing culture, and Yijing wisdom is a spiritual treasure for all of humanity.
